Oh, and i'd have to say I agree with the slug on this here little erm..debate. We all take from our various religions or spiritual sources specific aspects that we choose to live by... nowadays.

Very few people I know live by every word that is in the original "Scriptures" for example, or whatever source their beliefs stem from. And who are we to judge anothers actions by our standards and our interpretation of the religion they follow? Live and let live! Western religion bites anyway.*waits for onslaught*

Where are all the juicy X-rated sins I expected to read here, eh?? harrumph!

i don't personally care whether she is or isn't. all i said was that her actions don't bear out her claims *L* and they don't. take whatever you want from your religion. but facts are facts. if you call yourself a christian there are certain behaviours you just don't do *shrug* that isn't MY interpretation... it's the interpretation of people who are christians. i personally am not a religious person. i have knowledge that was crammed down my throat as a child. i know a ton of people who claim to be christians and every one of them try to avoid the kind of behaviour described above. to me it seems a bit like saying to your significant other "i love you and i'm not perfect. please forgive me in advance for anything i might do to hurt you." and once you have received that forgivness, proceeding to run out cheat on them and do all the things you know will hurt them. what the hell?? you've already been forgiven right??
